About NFFA

NIGERIAN FILM FESTIVALS ASSOCIATION (NFFA) is an umbrella body housing all film festivals within and outside Nigeria but organized by persons of Nigeria national. It is a consortium of Nigerian film festivals with the aim of supporting each other, resolving conflicts among film festival conveners and seeking solutions to the challenges confronting Film Festival administration in Nigeria.

Who Can Become a Member

NFFA has three levels of memberships and is open to any Nigerian within or outside the country that organizes or hosts a film festival or has the intention of convening a film festival

Associate Membership

Open to Film festivals based in Nigeria or organized in diaspora with not less than one (1) edition of the festival.

Full Membership

Open to all Film festivals in Nigeria or organized in the diaspora whose primary aims are to nurture, promote and/or celebrate professional practice in film and where they have held at least two (2) editions of said film festival.

Trainee Membership

Open to aspiring Film Festival Organizers who intend to organize a Festival.
